About the Author

Tim Z. Brooks (pseudonym) is a person in recovery with decades of experience across a wide range of recovery approaches and communities. Tim coaches other recovering addicts with a practical and non-dogmatic style, shaped by long-term observation rather than allegiance to any single philosophy.

Underlying this work is an integrative perspective on addiction and recovery, a way of seeing that is widely inclusive and embodied, honoring biological, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions without reducing recovery to any single lens.
